I am a renaissance woman, with wide-ranging interests. My day job is freelance trainer and instructional designer. I truly enjoy working with people to help them use the technical tools at their disposal to be more effective workers. Recently I have ventured into the world of eLearning. In the past I have worked in legal editing, academic publishing, helped run a small investment management company, and worked at the Library of Congress.
In my free time I enjoy making crafts, reading, and hiking. I have been working part time in a yarn store and enjoy working with people on their own projects and pushing my boundaries by designing patterns to sell in the store. I enjoy a good meal and exploring where I live. I do want to get more active, and the challenge is finding out how to work that in to my busy schedule.
